Expert Talk on “Financial Reporting and Awareness” – Centre for Distance and Online Education

A webinar on “Financial Reporting & Awareness” was organized for the students of Manav Rachna Centre for Distance and Online Education on 25^th March, 2023. The keynote speaker of the event was Mr. Gagan Dhingra, Vice President of Accounting and Principal Accounting Officer at Lucid Motors, California, USA, with more than 20 years of experience in the area of Accounting and Finance. Mr. Gagan is a Certified Public Accountant in California, a Chartered Accountant and a seasoned finance and accounting professional with extensive technical and accounting operational experience.

The webinar initiated with a prolific dialogue on the core and basic concepts of Financial Reporting, Financial Statement and its components in detail. He shared significant graphics and pictographic demonstrations to showcase the importance and rationale of Financial Reporting and Analysis in today’s times. He shared his wisdom and strength with the students and motivated them through his journey. The session was quite intriguing and comprehensive progressing the students towards participation and enlightenment. The session was followed by a round of Question & Answers which was well handled and catered by the Keynote speaker. The Webinar was quite collaborative and inspiring for the students and participants. The webinar ended with a vote of thanks delivered by the Assistant Director, CDOE, MRIIRS to the keynote speaker of the session and an assurance to the students for more of such illuminating sessions and edifying experiences.
