INTER-DISCIPLINARY DEBATE COMPETITION

On the vibrant day of March 30, 2024, The Centre for Distance and Online Education was abuzz with intellectual fervor as CDOE hosted an exhilarating an Inter Disciplinary debate competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, displaying their prowess in rhetoric, critical thinking, and eloquence. Themed around contemporary issues spanning from socio-political dilemmas to technological advancements, the competition served as a platform for robust discourse and ideological exchange.

The participants, engaged in heated yet respectful exchanges, presenting well-researched arguments and counterarguments. From analyzing the ethical implications of artificial intelligence to deliberating on the efficacy of sustainable development policies, the topics sparked insightful discussions, reflecting the diverse perspectives of the participants.

One of the key highlights of the debate was the topic “Online education a boom better than offline mode” most of the participants spoke for the motion and expressed their views that how E-learning has become the future of knowledge and intellect. This boosted the morale of the staff and faculty members on observing the passion of students towards online education.

The competition served as a testament to the collective dedication towards intellectual growth and the pursuit of truth.

The debate was moderated by all the faculty members of CDOE and coordinated by Mr. Tafheem Bashir.
